Hey friends and family!
I have exciting news to share! I have decided to step out in faith and go to Costa Rica through The World Race: Summer Semesters program.
The World Race is a program through Adventures in Missions, an interdenominational nonprofit mission’s organization that focuses on discipleship, prayer, and the relationship between God and his people. Established in 1989, it has brought over 100,000 people to the mission field. I am so honored to have been accepted into this program and look forward to partnering with the ministries in Costa Rica for a month this summer.
I will fly to Atlanta, Georgia for training on May 31st, then will travel to Costa Rica with my team from June 4th to July 2nd. Although each day in Costa Rica will look different, some of the things the team will be doing includes ministering to children, supporting the local church community, manual labor projects to meet tangible needs, as well as worship, preaching, and evangelism to name a few. Lots of super cool stuff going on for sure! I genuinely feel as if the Lord has called me to spend part of my summer serving Him in radical ways, and I think the World Race Summer Semesters program will be that perfect opportunity. I have SUCH a heart for missions, and I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store for my time in Central America.
And the coolest part? YOU have an opportunity to help me get there! There are two easy ways to become a part of this journey.
Prayer:
- For me and my team, that we would delight in our new community together, and grow together in the name of the Lord. Pray that each of our gifts be used to bring Him glory.
- For the people we will encounter. That we can make connections and form meaningful, lasting relationships.
- Over the number $4,000. That is the amount I need to partake in this trip, and I believe God will provide every penny.
Financial Support:
I am asked to raise $3,250 for the trip itself, and an additional $750 for travel and preparation fees. With that being said, I humbly ask that you please pray about financially supporting me through this trip. Any amount is genuinely helpful! My fundraising goal of $4,000 includes the cost of training, travel, lodging, food, and other necessities while abroad. I know that the God who called me to this is faithful to provide. While you may not be traveling to another country, you are still doing something significant by enabling me to walk out my call and be the hands and feet of Jesus. By supporting this mission, you are a part of God’s Kingdom work!
